We're Hiring Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers

Pawfect Pet Sitter is one of the valley's top double-certified pet sitting and dog walking companies, and we're growing our team. If you're a reliable, professional pet lover who takes pride in delivering premium care, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Pawfect Pet Sitter, you'll provide hands-on care for our clients' pets in their homes. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

Walking dogs of all sizes, often 1 to 2 miles per walk
Caring for dogs, cats, and other pets with feeding, fresh water, and playtime
Administering medications and following special care instructions
Communicating daily with clients through photos and detailed check-in summaries
Maintaining home safety and security during every check-in
Handling light household tasks such as watering plants and collecting mail when requested
Driving to multiple client homes throughout the day
Capturing photos and short videos during check-ins to support our social media presence on Instagram and Facebook

What We're Looking For

At least 18 years old
US citizen authorized to work in the US for the next 12 months
Valid driver's license with reliable personal vehicle
Smartphone with a working camera and cell service
Physically able to walk 1 to 2 miles multiple times per day, climb stairs, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Willingness to commit to at least 6 months from hire date
Available for 2 to 3 check-ins per day during the windows of 7 to 11am, 11am to 2pm, and 4 to 7pm, including weekends and holidays
Adherence to a smoke-free environment during all check-ins

Pawfect Pet Sitter represents premium care in the homes of our clients. All team members must maintain a professional, polished appearance that reflects our brand standards.

Business casual or athletic wear in good condition, clean, and well-fitted
Hair clean, neat, and well-maintained
Minimal jewelry, subdued and professional in style
No visible body piercings except small ear studs
Visible tattoos must be covered during client check-ins
Professional footwear appropriate for walking and climbing stairs
Clean, groomed appearance at all times

These standards apply consistently to all team members and are non-negotiable.

Brutus, a rescue mutt, is anxious /fearful around strangers. While you are walking Brutus, a stranger ignores their polite request to not pet the dog. They give you lip service on how all dogs love them and reach out and in a split second Brutus bites their hand drawing blood.

What do you do?

What would your sequence of events be?**

The dog you are walking keeps sitting down on their way home. You have 15 minutes to get home before the service ends or you will be late to the rest of your scheduled visits if the dog doesn't start walking asap.

What would you do to assist the dog in this situation?*

You work Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and would love to enjoy some much needed Netflix time. One of your fellow employees has significant car troubles and cannot complete their walk/pet visit schedule that afternoon.
